ABOUT JULIAN
PROFESSIONAL SKIER / OWNER DISCRETE CLOTHING / FOUNDER PEAK SERIES
I taught myself how to ski in eighth grade, my background was skateboarding and I was oblivious to what mainstream skiing was. I perfected my balance on my skis, then I perfected my balance in the air. Naturally, once I had that established I basically tried to skateboard on skis. So a day of skiing consisted of cliff and air searching - all day. I'd usually get home at 9:00pm.
I had no idea that skiing was influenced by racing and Corporations. I still hang onto that innocence.
I found that if I could be doing anything at any given moment, I would be skiing. This behavior continues to this day, and it will continue until I am physically limited to maintain such a lifestyle.
In the last eight months I have been to Argentina, Chile, Jackson Hole, Vail, Aspen, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Alaska, and Whistler. Up until eight months ago the furthest east I had been was Colorado - furthest south was Tijuana - furthest north was Canada. Every place was amazing and I am addicted to traveling now. Top of the list now is Peru and check out Maccu Piccu. But you know what .. I still love coming home to Utah. Most of my friends, family, and beautiful mountains reside here. I am pretty much into anything that involves fun people in fun places (mostly outdoors), and hard workers. It could be with random rad strangers in a random place I have never been - or it could be sitting above Salt Lake City watching the sunset with good friends (maybe with some cold beer). Oh yeah, and I am great at rock, paper, scissors. And snuff is the way to my heart.
